old mac's boots instead of shoes
Hey all!
Anyone ever heard of or tried Old Mac's Boots? They have a website, www.oldmacsboots.com, I believe. I'm just wondering if anyone out there has any real life experience with them? I debating getting some for the gelding I'm riding (my husband's, but he has no time to ride and I don't currently have "mine"). He's really sensitive on his feet and I'd like to try riding him down the gravel road as a change of pace from the dirt road...plus there are no holes, vines, tree roots, or snakes I can't see. Though, it would hurt more to fall... Anyway, supposedly they are better than having your horse shod every 6 weeks for $120 with an inconsistent farrier (we live in the back of beyond). Any opinions? |

Look in the forum for Tack Talk, I asked basically the same question, in a post titled "a question about horse boots"
here's a link http://forum.horsetopia.com/viewtopic.php?t=1164
