Sorry About Your Friend. I Am Waiting For A Liver Transplant And Without It I Have Maybe A Year. My Motto Is Any Day Above The Ground Is A Great Day. When I Go Out In The Morning To Fed My Horses And They Talk To Me I Feel God Is Good To Allow Me Another Day. Dont Let A Day Go By Without Telling Your Family That You Love Them

I am so sorry to hear about your friend.

In my line of work, (EMS) I see how easy life can either be altered or taken from you when you least expect it.

Live life to its fullest, and each day you are alive is a gift.

Noone is ever promised tomorrow.

Don't take life for granted.

I have major clinical depression and know how it feels to want to take your own life because things get so overwhelminig but the things that make my life worth living are: Wonderful friends that put up with my weird quirks, My lovely Arabian filly, smelling the fresh air first thing in the morning, cleaning a huge barn every day, lizards, toads, spiders, Lobo escaping his cage and going to find someone to snuggle with, birds singing and the wonderful things God made so we humans could be happy under His care here on earth.

That God has blessed me with a husband who adores me as much as I do, him.
That we have been blessed with 3 healthy strapping boys, with baby #4 coming shortly.
That each day I wake up with the love of everyone mentioned above, along with with all the material blessings a body could ask for.

I am so very sorry for your loss.

Here's to hoping good things come to all those posting above with their personal issues.

I'm thankful for waking up and getting to feed my nickering horses and see the beautiful lake out in front of us everyday. Thankful that I have a great job and and even greater hubby.

Every time my hubby comes with me on a trail ride or an event, it makes it so much more special because he came to share it with me. Life is too short to worry if my house is clean enough! Go enjoy life.....

I woke up too early this morning and used the time to actually get my son out of bed in time to enjoy a good breakfast before rushing out the door at 7:15 am...to discover a flat tire on my car. Truck won't start because it has an alternator or starter issue. So here we are, essentially stranded...

But instead of focusing on the negative that all that could have put on me, I look to the fact that I have good roadside assistance coverage that meant all I had to do was make a phone call and someone else changed that tire.

One more phone call and my wonderful boyfriend hauled himself out of his bed after only having about five hours' sleep to take my son to school.

Another phone call, and I'm cleared to be late to work so I can take care of all my daily errands.

How fortunate am I, to have the solid support network, the love of my family, the wonderful care and partnership I've found in my life's partner...this is where I give thanks each and every day.

I get depressed sometimes, too. I think there are times when everyone feels the weight of the world on their shoulders. And there's no making light of someone else's pain. But choosing to look for and celebrate the positive helps you rise above, and the more you can focus on the good and the joyful and the positive and the possibilities...you bring everyone up with you.
