Yay! Congrats on getting her moved safely...now go play with the truck and trailer till you're comfortable...its not as bad as you think it will be...

I agree with candy4legs. Go get the empty trailer and ride it around town, up the bumpy roads and down the interstate. When you are very comfortable with that take the horse for a ride. It will handle differently with 1000 lbs. behind it. So you and the horse will both learn. Then if there is an emergency you will be confident about the trip and have one less thing to stress about.

Totally agree! Its something that everyone should know that owns a horse....you never know what might happen and you may just NEED to haul a horse. Just go play around with it. You will be surprised how easy it is Im sure Then when your comfortable with the empty trailer...load up your girl. Its good practice for them as well Im glad to hear everything went smoothly with the move
