Vicki, are you sure you don't want a plain bay QH with a good head on his neck? Or even a red QH filly?

Noah will be two in May and is starting major ground work and has been saddled and Angela has been led on him in the round pen. So far he's great, fast learner and it sticks with him. He's 14 hands and growing. He will make a great mount. Very good with the kids.
His dam is a reiner and producer of reiners. (She has a Nic's Doo slide too filly that was sold and was shipped to Germany and is in reining training and doing very well. Plus others.) His sire's get have done everything. Personality wise, they don't come calmer than him and his parents are the same quiet nature. Conformation wise, he's nice, could have been a stud prospect if not for me being sick. His sire is 15.1, dam is 14.2 I think. His pedigree here.... http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/okies+noah I am in the process of registering him and his name pending will be "Okies Diamond Zippo" Barn name of course is Noah. I have a half sister to him, she's a three year old. Started groundwork and round pen. Lighter build, hotter as far as a lot more energy and spunk, but sweet and gentle in nature as they come and very good with the kids. 14.1 at the wither 14.2 1/2 at the rump. (She has a small scar on one of her front legs. Just cosmetic.) I think she's going to be a bit more exciting than Noah, but knowing her dam and sire, she'll do well once she learns what is expected of her in training. She learns VERY quickly, and thinks on things, so when she comes back for the next session, she's better than where we left off. She has had a saddle on one time, and I have gotten on her for about ten minutes. Not too much done as you know my situation. Her pedigree here...... http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/zipto+my+cool+page She will be working as mud and my health permits So, maybe in a few months they will be up to your specs, but the price will go up too. This is a sibling that is also for sale. He is started undersaddle and doing very well. If there is interest in him pm me first. http://www.dreamhorse.com/show_horse...rse_id=1142974

Anyone know of any barrel or roping horses?
Barrel horse qualities: - Doesn't have to be blazing fast... just fast enough to make a good run. - Knows the pattern very well so it can teach me how to ride the pattern, too. - Preferably a gelding. - Preferably under $2000 (I don't have a big budget) - Doesn't have to be registered, but it would be nice... - Under 10 years old would be good. Roping horse qualities: - Knows what it is doing and does it well. - Again, preferably gelding - Doesn't have to be registered, but it would be nice - Under $2000 - Under or around 10 years old If anyone has any info (and pics if possible

If anyone is looking, I went and met a fantastic 3 year old Solid Paint gelding last weekend. His personality stole my heart but he is not quite right for what I want to do. He was started last fall and put away for several months. They drug him right from the field for me to try. They did not even lounge him before they rode him. He went like a dream, walk, jog and lope. Even my 6 year old daughter rode him. I flopped all over the saddle and really tried to scare him but he is just a solid boy. They do team penning and he has no interest in cattle. PM me if you are interested.

I have a black APHA filly. Will be 3 in June and she's QUICK as well as agile and stocky!! A nice filly. My guess is 14.3 will be it for her. I've done all her ground work and owned her since she was 3 months old. She's quiet, not spooky but green. I've been on her a handful of times and from her groundwork she's pretty easy will w/t and circle but I won't push her too far too soon. She's black with a white blaze and 2? white socks. I'd have to look at her again.
I just spent $500 registering her and her dam. I would like to get $3500 for her. She's sweet as can be. A good home is a must for her and I won't publicy advertise her. I always thought she'd make a nice barrel horse, it's just not my cup of tea.Pedigree http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/whizlin+marissa I have pics too if you'd like them. I can't get neigh to work today .
