Eastern Fall Sale??

Anybody going??
September 12th, Lexington Horse Center, Lexington, VA.
Just wondered??
I'd LOVE to go, they usually hold this sale at the Timonium Fair Grounds in Timonium, MD.
Wonder why the change of venue??
Of course, the 'Horse Center' is AWESOME, don't get me wrong.

Seriously considered it---got the catalog in the mail and honestly didn't see anything worth making the 3 hour trip over. Had planned to do another type non horsey auction instead, only to find that it was over 3 hours away. Now we are going to stay home. The trail horse one in Lexington is the one to go to---usually in January or February.

I saw one gelding I thought was super cute, pg.37,
'Invest In Absolute'.
Of course, because he's Invester bred.
It seemed like mostly mares for sale.
One of these days I'm coming to that Trailhorse Auction,..., dreamy sigh ,...,,..., I know they get some nice ones in for that one.

Bumping back up,..., it's this upcoming weekend.
If anyone goes, I'd love to hear about the horses,
and the prices.
Thanks

How about a 6 year old mare that acts like a teenager?

Fall Sale

Last year's Fall Sale was at Lexington as well..it is held along with the Furturity. It certainly seemed like the entries in the Furturity were down and I think that was the general concensus of the crowd there. Horses at the sale seemed to do better than they did at the Summer sale and better than the fall sale last year. With this being said, the prices were certainly not what we were accustomed to in years past...but, they certainly seemed higher than we have seen recently. We bidded on a few, but, they all passed what we had planned on spending!
