Wedding and Reception Locations

Hey guess what? I am getting married. So as of now the proposed date for the wedding is 10-10-09 I am getting prepared and trying to take this one step at a time and not get stressed out as well as spread out the cost.

So I need your help finding a wedding and reception location in southern texas anywhere from Houston to Austin to College Station/Bryan I am trying to stay on the 290 HWY location area if possible. I am looking for something countryish as I am marrying a real life "Cowboy" . If you have any ideas please post them and website links if you have them and any ideas and suggestions. Thanks SOOOO much!

I have decided to do my colors in Blue, Ivory and possibly a deep maroon as I am doing Texas Bluebonnets and I am a Fightin Texas Aggie Gig'Em.
THANKS

I don't have any suggestions, but wanted to say CONGRATULATIONS! Don't stress. Everything works itself out.

Oh I know I will worry myself sick so I am not even worrying about that part I am interested in getting some of the big stuff settled now and then take my time planning all the details over the next year and a half. I wanted a long engagement exactly for this purpose!!!

10-10-10 does not fall on a saturday. I know that would be cute but also I really want to get married and buy a house and start my life so another year will seem like forever.

Congratulations! A friend of mine got married at this lodge in College Station. It was pretty country---very neat--not sure of cost though. She said it was not alot--but it was nice. So who knows what her idea of alot is.

The cabins were great, and it had a really nice area to get married outside.
