I need to find homes for some.

I have four of my horses listed for sale on HT. I don't want to sell them, but I don't have time for them. I normally think that sounds like a pretty lame excuse, but I really don't. My husband went on active duty orders on October 1, and I am really struggling to keep things running at home. It really is breaking my heart.

I just decided to offer my 22 yr old arabian mare for free to the right home. I hate it, because my 3 year old thinks she is his. The problem is, she is way too much horse for him, and we have horses that are more appropriate. I don't even know how I will tell him.

Man it is hard to type when you are crying. Anyhow, if any of you know of a good home for her, please let me know. Here is a link to my ads. The arabian is the horse in my avatar with my 3 year old.

If anyone has any advice that might be helpful, too.
To clarify my situation, my husband will be gone until Jan of '09.

I don't have many pictures of her, apparently...

Don't mind the rear end hanging over the saddle. It is too small for me, especially when I am sharing.

The date is wrong on this one, it was April 2006.

I would really like to hear some feedback.

I wish I had advice for you. The only thing I can think of is contact your local 4-H leader. They might know of a child/teenager that would take excellent care of your mare.

Good luck!
