Are horse-for-sale, giveaways or other for sale/wanted topics allowed?

Generally, the answer to this question is no solicitations are allowed. If you have a horse for sale, or know of one who needs a home, please create a Horsetopia seller account and post a free ad in our classifieds instead of posting the horse on the forum.

What we mean by no solicitations is that you can ask for help with finding products or services you're looking for (i.e. farrier, vet, boarding, training, etc). However, you can't promote your own services, products, or charitable activities except in your signature. The main exception is that if there is a regional forum for your area (see: http://forum.horsetopia.com/regional-chat-52/ )

Please be respectful of other members:
- Don't abuse your privilege of asking for help with finding a service or product (or you will be asked to stop).
- Don't ask for help if it's something you can find yourself but are feeling too lazy to look up.
- Remember that if these kinds of posts get to be a problem, we will stop allowing people to make them.
