What do I do if I see an inappropriate post?

Please help us when you see an inappropriate post on the forum.

This might include:
- A post with a link to an inappropriate site
- A huge fight erupting in a discussion thread
- A post with a solicitation or other spam

Our moderators can't read every post. So, we rely on you to let us know when something needs our attention!

How to report a post:
- navigate over to the post you'd like to report
- put your cursor over the little triangle that looks like this and click
- Briefly explain why the post needs our attention and click on "send report"

What happens when you report a post:

Reports are sent to a private area where only the Super Moderators see the report. The Super Moderators keep all reports anonymous. At no time will an offending member be made aware of who reported them.

When a report appears in this queue, any Moderator online (or the first one to log in after it was reported) will look into it immediately, and react in an unbiased manner appropriate for the situation. The situation is logged, as well as the manner in which it was handled, including any rules reminders sent, or action needed.

This may mean locking, editing, or removing posts. Additionally, depending upon severity, the offending member may be privately consulted, put on a temporary ban, or permanently banned from the forum.

Should you ever feel a need to report a post, but are uncomfortable using the "report a post" feature, you can always contact a moderator or administrator privately. Remember to have the exact link to the post you are needing to report, to help the person you're messaging find the problem as soon as possible.

Moderators and Administrators thank everyone who uses this feature, as it allows us to handle situations in a timely manner.

Is it possible to edit a post from a few days ago?

My apologies if this question belongs elsewhere, I wanted to correct my post from a couple of days ago.

Thank you!
