I would love to live there in PA. country! Land is so low priced there, why is that? Is it a pain to have someone with gas wells working on the land?

Look at this Pa. 4 acre property with 2 older homes(one's a moble)they have some out buildings, the homes nice looking with decks and porches. There's even a stock pond and fruit trees. If you put the address in google earth, the property has neat rows of trees and looks loved.

Most amazing thing is the listing price is less than 20,000.

I am thinking that must have been a typo on the price.

Probably not a typo in price. My husband is from around the Somerset, Johnstown PA area and the houses and land have always been cheap.

The problem is jobs! In 1997 after working 35 years for a particular Sash and Door Company my husband father, a senior supervisor was only making $12.50 an hour. Grant it that was 9 years ago, but it isn't much better today.....

I would love to have that place but we are trying to figure out how to get a farm loan or something along those lines. We have been looking for a new place for months now.

The one mile fron an ATV park would turn me off. Those things are sooooo loud, you would never have peace to enjoy the property.

That is the price; no typo - and it is negotiable.

Wow---my truck cost more than that whole place. I hope someone with horses can take advantage of it.
