OTRA members?

Hi ,
Just thought I'd see if any OTRA (Ontario Trail Riders Assoc.) members are here

My family and I joined this season and want to let any folks thinking of joining that it's a great organization and we're having the best year ever of horseback riding adventures. We are travelling around the province, seeing beautiful forests and farms and meeting wonderful fellow horse people.

I joined the OTRA this year at Can Am in London, the people at the booth were very friendly and we had a good chat, but then I had problems getting moon on a trailer after going to a clinic. Finally worked that out. But now the problem is no trailer to get to these places. It would be nice to be able to hook up with someone from this area and share the costs.
I have had the chance to go out on trails a few times, we went to Dundas Valley, St Williams and Turkey point. I really enjoyed Dundas valley and OTRA do have rides there.

That's a drag when they won't load. My friend boards a beautiful mare here but she can't get her on my trailer ( I think she's claustrophobic, it's a two horse) so she's very limited as to what she can do with her. We are in the London area but usually we are travelling with a full trailer. You should email OTRA and ask if anyone is around you to trailer, a lot of these folks have big rigs. We are planning to be in Hamilton this weekend for the equestrian fundraiser in Dundas valley, hope it doesn't rain

...we're in a tent and if it's really cold, the back of our SUV...we must be a little crazy

It took a lot of time to get her loading, so hope this is a temp setback. My friend with the traier does not like to ride in big groups, he prefers just a couple, so he does not want to go, it is a shame we are just over 1/2 hr away from your weekend ride in Dundas, I love it there, the first time moon saw the bridges was quite funny, but she did them like a trooper after the first one. Hope you enjoy the ride and I think the weather is good, so the tent will be ok. I may just take a drive down myself to meet every one.

I should get in touch with the group at otra, but I have only just got a computer and still take a while to figure things out. Holding out for next year
