AnyOne Near Niagra Falls ?

...Just making a trip up there on the weekend of September 12th - 14th to play softball ....wondering if anyone has an recommendations on hotels...places to eat...things to do LOl Im not a gambler

I highly recommend the Whirlpool Jet Boat Rides http://www.whirlpooljet.com/
We went in spring when the water levels were high and the current was fast and the water was absolutely ice cold. I thought it was going to be a pretty lame ride, but boy was I proven wrong. Absolutely amazing!!! It's a great activity for a group.

Of course, a little winery tour is always nice and the small towns like Niagara on the Lake have nice little shops, cafes and restaurants etc.

Lots of nice hotels in the area. I'm partial to the Doubletree, Lodge by the Falls. It really depends upon your price range and what you are looking for.

Yes, the Whirl Pool Jet Boat Rides is awsome. Also Maid of the Mist is good too.

If you like shopping, the store are pretty good too. If you are there just for the week-end, you will find plenty to do.

A few years ago now we were at the falls for a weekend hockey tournement and a number of us stayed at the carraige house. Very nice clean and friendly place, has a hot tub and small pool, just outside of the major husttle and bustle, lots of places to eat out and they have the shuttle that takes you to the casino but we did not go iin we had a walk down by the falls then took the shuttle back. We had a great time, and also got a discount for a group booking. Good luck and I hope you enjoy your softball tourny. If you get chance I would visit Niagra On The Lake it is just beautiful. Have a great time
