Probably not but the last time I said that I ended up with Spider!

My FSIL will have a few there to sell and my daughter will be riding a bunch for other people.

We usually go for the tack and the socializing.( and the farmer's market)

We are deciding whether to keep the paint we got at Carson's sale (he is riding now) or let him go. My husband is debating. We told him he has to decide by tomorrow.

He is finally ready to sell his crossbred gelding and move on to something else. He had first horse syndrome. (where even though you know your horse is inappropriate for you and not filling your needs you can't sell him and move on because he was your first horse........)

The paint, Tease, is very quiet and well mannered. He was the one that was shown in carriage driving at the Royal so he has seen it all already. He is green as far as riding goes but very sweet.

Another horse my FSIL is taking is a 7/8 sister to our palomino QH, Cash. Her name is Bar SN High Hopes. I want to keep her but she is 16 years old and the previous owner couldn't get her to catch this year so I don't even know if I could get a foal out of her???? She also needs some kind of joint supplement as she is a little stiff but the sweetest girl and broke to death. I will be sad to see the old girl go. She's only been at our barn for a week and I'm attached already. I told him if she doesn't sell I'll buy her. (like I need another lawn ornament

)

Dang why can't you keep them all?????

No sales for me lol-I've got mares coming in for breeding, plus another TB mare I bought that will be bred to Sunny and possibly put up for sale. She's got alot of sabino markings and is the classier old style TB.
Besides...I'm too far away now to be making that drive a casual one lol.

Tack usually starts at 9:30 or 10:00 followed by horses at noonish.

The market is open too.

BTW - my hubby decided to keep the paint and sell his crossbred.

We have two interested parties already.

We'll see what happens with the pally mare tomorrow ( please cross your fingers and hope she comes up sore in the morning

Surprising!!

Very little sold and what did sell were fairly cheap.

It was a registered horse sale with ponies and grades selling at the end.

Most got passed through.

We didn't bring anything home except the horses my daughter and her fiance took. They passed them through.

Although, there was a palomino and white paint/warmblood X filly that I LOVED!!!!!
4 years old, 16.3 and gorgeous. She had just been started under saddle. They passed her through at $4000.00. Too rich for me

Other than that my head wasn't turned by anything in particular. Just as well!
