Friend looking for a horse

We have a friend that is looking for a riding horse. Nothing spectacular just a down the road kinda horse. He has a budget of 1500.00.

Anyone know of anything needing a good home.

Note ~ he has in-operable cancer and just wants a nice horse he can enjoy this summer. He is an experienced rider but his health means he needs something easy to handle

The horse will be kept at our barn.

Good luck in finding a good horse. If we were at a different stage with our horses, I would consider loaning a horse, given your friend's circumstances, for a period of time. I wonder if you would find someone with a surplus of well trained, trail ready horses who would do the same?

We actually offered him one of ours but he really wants to get one of his own.
