What are horses going for at auctions around here?

There is a horse I am considering, I just found her also posted in an upcoming auction. The horse is more than I wanted to pay. They are willing to drop the price. But I am sure she will go for even less at the auction. We had already discussed the lower price, but that was before I knew she registered for an auction.

So, a green broke, quiet, 7yr old draft/qh cross pretty, would fetch what? do you figure in an auction.

Auctions are unpredictable. People can get caught up in the bidding and prices can go high, or many are just there to watch the show and the bidding stays low. Will you live with regrets if you don't get her.

A crossbred-depending on how the horse looks, moves, and how much progress has been made under saddle could go for $2000-but if it behaves badly in the ring it could end up being a $750-1000 horse. I agree-very unpredictable.

Young/green horses are being given away right now.

My daughter's bf bought a gorgeous grulla (yes grulla) crossbred mare for $700.00 at auction yesterday. Broke to ride and very fancy.

ya registered WH broke horses were selling here at an auction at Easter Time for $500-$800
