Horses for sale

Anyone else want to list horses for sale in here??

A friend of mine is doing a major herd reduction. He is reg'd and unreg'd paints, as well as a few QH's. One mare is older (17) and broke - I've only ridden her 2x and she was very quiet both times but that's all I can guarantee. Also one mare in foal - she has produceed 3 nice Hunter types, all 3 are sold.

He also has a bunch of youngsters (yearlings - 4yos) that range in price from $500 +GST and up. Some are well handled, some need some work, but all will be halter broke, lead and tie before they leave! Delivery is available and prices are VERY negotiable.

Sometimes he will quote you a price that leaves you thinking "that's no deal" but make him an offer and most of the time he won't refuse it! e-mail fsgfarm@yahoo.com or cbcfarm@hotmail.com for pics and info

I know a couple of other regional threads have horses for sale.
Glad to hear Frank realizes he has to cut down at least a little.
You'll have to come over and visit Brenda this weekend-Justin and I will be up there Thursday night for the weekend (or til Saturday).

I hope we can get out to Brenda's maybe Thursday...Siobhan's mare is still there so she'd probably like to see her

I'll see if I can drag her out for a while-she had some tragic news last week and wanted me up there last weekend but I couldn't-promised this weekend-but with Tonka crossing her legs...I hope I can still sneak away.

Justin and I should be there by 6 (

) on Thursday if you want to wait til we get there.

How about wanted ads????

Im actually hoping to purchase a foal and then once its weaned take it home. I had a horse whisperer out to meet my horses (yes, I know it osunds crazy) but, my daughters mare is so sensitive and my daughter was worried that she didint like her..yadda yadda yadda. So in the end we found out that she was missing a foal, a little filly..(when we bought her she was a little bagged up) So we're figuring the sale before the one we got her from was where he baby was sold. Shes found a baby now that shes attached to but we are moving and hes not for sale. So hopefully this fall well be able to pick up a little filly....

So if anyone knows of a filly that will becomming available this fall..let me know, please.

What type of horse are you looking for? Our Haflinger mare, Honey, is due any day now. She was bred to a homozygous tobiano Gypsy stallion. We will definitely be selling if it's a filly. Guaranteed color, lots of feather and a calm temperment.

Her pedigree - Fire. Both parents are performers - her dam had one barrel point but did more than that, and her sire is an NRHA Money earner and a multiple pewter winner. It's my friend's mare. She has had one foal, but isn't broke to ride and will be challenging...she isn't mean, but she's not something I could get going. Touchy around her girth area. AWESOME on the ground though - leads, loads, baths, clips, etc. Nice papers too, and she'd be very reasonable to the right home!

Feel free to pass the info around - delivery may be available, depending on where...

Yearling Percheron x QH cross filly. Is currently black but she'll turn grey. Can load, tie, lead, pick up feet etc... Should finish over 16HH. He bought her for his granddaughter and she lost interest, he says she'll make an awesome horse. Located in Drumbo/Princeton area. He didn't give me a price, but I'm sure it would be fair.
