Sounds like a BLAST! Wish we could go, but we're heading to AZ this week. Have fun and don't forget the camera!

We had fun! I took my camera but forgot and left it in the car. No one wanted to walk back to the car and get it. We were lucky and caught the bus so we didn't have to walk a mile to the front entrance. We had just started walking around when a bug landed on the back of my left arm. Natural instinct was to brush it off. Bad idea as it was a bee and it stung me on my right hand. We quickly found the first aid station and they gave me a bag of ice. Thankfully it turns out I'm not allergic to bees. I haven't been stung in over 20 years.

We spent 5 hours wandering the grounds and still didn't see everything but we brought home a bag of goodies. Lots of paper info to read, a string of double ended clips, two walking sticks and a tool to clean out grease fittings. I'm sure I'm forgetting something. All I know is I ended up carrying the bag around as it kept getting heavier and heavier and......

Oh ya! I remember now, I got frig magnets from some of the venders (it would appear they are the new collectors item. No one handed out ink pens. ), and a mouse pad with a calendar on it. I had just said to hubby I should have one at my desk so I didn't have to keep jumping up and running to look at one and it was free.

We saw a work horse that was being raffled off, and cows, goats and a pair of alpacas.
An Amish family was selling barns. Some of them being a dog kennel (almost $3,000), rabbit hutch (aprox. $400) and chicken coop (I turned to hubby and said those are expensive eggs as the coop only housed 6 chickens and they wanted over a thousand dollars for it.) They had a little model of the horse barn they build. Our son was impressed with it. A boys version of a doll house.

Mark your calendar, next year it will be held on Aug. 11, 12, and 13th.
