Hi JoMarie. We are busy trying to finish up with school. Do you still want to do a picnic this summer? Let me know-I am glad to help any way I can. My little one wants to come over and see the mini babies. Would that be ok?

Hi Jo Marie. I still have your number and will give you a call later in the week. I still am looking for a mare for Lara. We are supposed to be going to look at one Friday. The girls can't wait to see your new little ones.

My work life is KILLING me. I have been working 60-70 hours per week, I have vacation coming up and my boss says...are you sure you feel comfortable taking time off? No I don't with so much going on but dear god I am the only supervisor here that has not taken time off this year. I have over 30 days to take. I need a break. Sorry just venting as it is SAT am and I have to work all weekend.

LindaM if it helps any my husband likes to save 2 weeks of his vacation for December. He prefers to take his days off one day at a time and many times it's just a half day. My mother complains to me, that's not a vacation. I roll my eyes and say I know but I can't convince him to do otherwise. He works 7 days a week 10 hrs a day. The most vacation he's had in 35 years was last fall when the Rand went on strike.

Vacation is when he takes a day off work and we go to the Empire Farm days in August. http://www.empirefarmdays.com/ We really enjoy it. I especially like the vendors. I'll warn anyone that decides to go, wear comfortable shoes (you'll walk a million miles in them) a hat and sunglasses.

Maybe I'm just down in the dumps.... Since we have moved here to NY it seems everything has just gone down into the toilet (no offense to any NY). Healthwise since we moved here, we have had 36 trips to drs and my daughter has had tonsils out, allergy testing, and is now scheduled to have her nose cauterized for nosebleeds.... She was also into the ER after a bug hit her in the eye and ended up scratching the cornea.... I went to the ER last week as I could not breathe.... My allergies are so bad here that I am developing asthma and despite inhalers, just can't breathe.... My husband went to the ER two days ago from a possibly seperated AC shoulder joint and now has a sling and is facing possible surgery... I have a horse I bought to ride.. can't because I cannot breathe to even brush him.....

We endured endless sickness illness and icestorms through the winter all waiting to get to summer and enjoy the great outdoors. Now here we are sitting in the house waiting for fall/winter so our allergies stop and we can live again. Do you think it is a sign that we need to leave and go somewere else?????

At wits end....

Now I'm down in the dumpster with ya! Poor girl you do have it rough.

Cheer up, the Lord doesn't give us more than we can handle and I have days when I think He thinks I can handle a lot. When days get gloomy I think of all the positives in my life and there will be better days.

I know how it is not being able to breathe. I got farmers lung a few years back so I know how frustrating it can be fighting for a breath of air, my sis and my son have asthma. The trick is finding out what the triggers are and avoiding them. Brushing out my horses is one of the killers for me, that and feeding dusty hay and.....the list just seems to keep growing.

Poor girl, I feel so sorry for your daughter. It's not easy being sick. We have finally had a good year with our son, knock on wood. We've had some years when I felt we lived in the doctors office.
Those nasty new york bugs I'm assuming it was a gnat. They are the worst. They go for the eyes, not even glasses keep them at bay. Try putting a bounce fabric softener sheet in her hair, it seems to help. Spraying a baseball cap with off also helps.

Sorry to hear about your hubby. I hope it doesn't come down to needing surgery. I broke my shoulder 8 years ago and was told I might need surgery. Thank goodness I didn't. I heard of someone else having the same problem and his surgery made it worse. Tell your hubby to look on the bright side now he can forecast the weather. My arm is aching so I know it's going to rain. Yep sure enough it just poured.

Prayers and ((hugs)) that things look brighter in the near future.

Wow I guess we are all having a busy summer.
I know it is just flying by.
Still trying to sell minis and riding horses. and tack.
always cleaning up outside. and giving lessons and training., At least we are well and are able to keep up the pace for now.
Anyone out there get to go to the fairs?.
Went to Saugerties Horses in the Sun Horse show Great to see 1,000 horses competing in pleasure , equitation, and jumping with $50,000 in prize money for a winner of the jumping competition.
Well off for now.
Any one else doing something exciting?

Well, yes I am. I am in awe of the way my trainer friend is teaching me to be with Ahliver. No one I know of does what he does. I am learning to really delve into Ahliver's mind and understand so much more than ever before. His Horse Mind Ship goes to a much deeper level than what the NH people do. I have much more to learn (will be learning forever), but have a greater understanding of what Ahliver feels - what life is like for him. It is truly amazing.
