Painted Pony Rodeo - Lake Luzerne NY

Has anyone ever been to it? Anyone participated (which events)?

We pass it all the time when camping but never gone down for the rodeo. It is about a 2 hour drive for us.

Hubby is always looking for places to rope, and they have team roping. But I don't know if you have to be a USTRC member, or NY resident to participate? Thought I would get some info here before calling.

Thanks in advance! I'd be fun to meet someone there someday!

I understand from folks that go it is a fun time. have barrel racing. pole bending and such, I guess if you have the money to enter you do not have to live in NY.
Give them a call and I am sure they will fill you in about schedule,fees and what is required
