governor?

How about what is going on with the Governor?
How sad he would jepordize his career and embarass his wife and kids and the people of the state of New York. Sad circumstances.

I for one am absolutley disheartened by his stupidity! I really thought that he was true blue before he entered his current office. I was so hopeful for change in "this great state of NY". That's what he always said. I am really so upset about the whole thing. While watching/listening to the news last night, I was mopping my kitchen floor. My husband came in and reminded me not to scrub the linoleum right off the floor! I am so angry that his arrogance would lead to this hypocracy, and so blatent! What was he thinking??? Too bad for his family, I feel for them. Having to face the public, thos poor girls having to go to school...I can't imagine!

I can only hope and pray that something good comes from this. God knows we need help in this country...I pray for it everyday!

Yes, I feel the same...just betrayed. I had such respect for him and thought he was a fine human being. So sad to have it shown to be otherwise.

They are saying 10's of thousands spent on hookers. So smarmy....

My heart goes out to his family. If I was his wife, there would not be any need for discussion of his resignation... the headline would be about his sudden disappearence.

As far as politics, over the years I have developed a distrust for anyone in the political world. Power corrupts and we have seen that proven time and time again. It really does get disheartening because you think "Oh here is someone I can beleive in" and low and behold they end up making a mockery of themselves and fools out of those that beleived in them. Perhaps part of their ammends should include financial contibutions to some worthwhile charity.... get them in the pocketbook if nothing else!! Maybe that would make some kind of lasting impact.

Spitzer stepping down today at 1130. What kind of a deal he could have made with the feds. Wonder if he is spending time in jail? Probably turning evidence in about the GIRLS /.
So disheartenting How embrassing for his family and for us

Good - I know I am not from NY - but I am in law enforcement - and what he did to his family and his state are terrible..

Watching his wife today, I couldn't help but tear up. So sad for her, I don't think I could be that strong. I am praying for all of them.

I think there must be something seriously, radically wrong with him to have done what he did. He doesn't even appear remourseful (no matter what he says). He looks almost "smug". I wonder what his wife is saying to him behind closed doors - "you stupid idiot; what is wrong with you", etc. Very sad and humiliating for his family.

VERY IMBARASING FOR HIS WHOLE FAMILY. i couldnt beleive how much he actualy spent on it! his poor wife standing by his side. all i know is if my husband cheats on me i would not be by his side any longer and never mind paying for a hooker ! thats horrible and quite disturbing.
