Hay hay hay!!! I finally figured it out. Guess I need to learn how to fallow directions.

I came here yesterday to see if there was a forum for us New Yorkers. Guess I was to early. Thanks for the heads up horselady. Who knows when I would have taken a peek again.

I am 25yrs old, and have done H/J all my life. I competed 3'3 until 01' when I had a bad accident, which put me in 6 months therapy to fix it. Although it isnt as comfortable as it used to be to ride, I still do it. I was a barn manager /assistant trainer at a H/J show barn for 3-4 years.

Not sure what is going on yet. I am relocating to make a relationship easier(long distance just makes it so hard). He has a house, but shares it with family. We were thinking about getting small land to possibly have 2-3 horses.

I have lived in florida ALL my life, and I HATE the cold...lol. I tell people you wont find me out in weather below 50. So I figured it was worth getting used to the cold(probably be miserable for the 1st year), for this to work. I do want to find a horse job up that way too, and also get back into lessons. I dont know what the popular discipline is in that area(western, english, etc...).

Please check with pvf in regards to who may join the NY forum outside of New York residents. As the Regional Forum Moderator, she will make those decisions on a case-by-case basis...

YAY I get to join too!

Dream Ponies, PVF said that they will be working on something for the other New england states soon, but NY is too big to add other states to it. So we'll just have to join in here for now!

Nice to meet everyone that is close to me! I am in VT just across the lake from NY.
