farm and critters for sale
The recent issues in life with Peter-John and myself have brought me to the decision to sell - PM me (or post reply) for details
FARM- 132 acres, 8 ponds - year round springs - brook - seasonal waterfall, fenced and cross fenced, 4 barns, 2 garages, machine shed, smoke house and home ( 2 bedroom - 1 bath - built in 1916 - could finish upstairs for more bedrooms )
CRITTERS FOR SALE - 7 llamas, 2 minis and 12 big horses (11 TWHs (3 in foal) and 1 spotted saddle) ....I have some people already wanting to buy some of them, so will need to check with them first...but if you (or any of your friends) are interested in any of them, please let me know. If you want full reg'd names, reg #s, full pedigrees or pictures...just ask. I will consider offers and would give preference to package sales. LOVING homes are a must.
LLAMAS....all are registered ILR, except Taxi who is eligible for reg...all of them are "eat from your hand" friendly llamas, most are show quality and top fiber quality (or at least I was told this when I bought them - I do not show)...the females have been with Snapple and could be bred. I gave est value for the HTers that don't know llamas...but again I will consider all offers on them.
Snapple - herd sire - paint and white - 3 - valued at $1500
Fuzzy - could be a herd sire - brown - 3 - valued at $750
Goldie - breeding age female (sire is award winning appy) - light brown with appy leg spots - 3 - valued at $1500
Lilly - breeding female (has beautiful cria, but is not show quality herself - very tall big llama) - intense brown that looks black - 9 - valued at $750
Velour - breeding age female (loves to play in water) - brown with grey neck - 3 - valued at $2500
Tea - breeding age female (dam is ALSA grand champion, very people oriented) - brown - 4 - valued at $3500
Taxi (cria of Snapple and Tea) intense brown has a white "T" marking on face - 1 - valued at $1000
MINI HORSES -I kept these 2 as they were our favorites and were so gentle and easy to care for
Karma - AMHR - strawberry roan overo - 34.50" - 13 - great brood mare, very loving and easy to work with (colt at her side is sold and will leave in Dec)
Queen - AMHR - appy - about 32" but have measured for perm papers yet - 3 - a real love (may be in foal with first foal)
BIG HORSES...They are all very gentle and loving as they were picked to be around Peter-John, heights are estimated, I have not ridden them so am using info given to me for that.
Spotted saddle = Little - grey tobiano - 5 - not reg, but I have been told she could be if a video of her gaiting was sent in - 1/2 TWH and 1/2 APHA - not broke to ride - exceptional temperament - about 14.3 (I absolutely adore this mare)
TWH (all mares are TWHBEA reg'd and DNA'd - foals are eligible for reg and parents are already DNA'd) I LOVE them all but marked them to let you know how motivated I am on selling them * would help if they were sold ASAP ** could stay until farm sells *** will break my heart when they leave
<mares>
***Cash - Grey - 6 - 15+ hand - "broke for all to ride" - by Lined with Cash - has foal (Princess) at side still, open - pure love big gentle mare
**Dely - sorrel - 3 - 14 hands - ready to break now - Pusher and Mud Slide Slim lines - open maiden - easy to work with (has been my baby girl since she was a baby filly)
***Fancy - bay tobiano - 5 - 15? hands - professionally broke to ride - Spotted Alen Again, Marshall Dillion and Mud Slide Slim lines - bred for 09 foal LFG (this will be her first) - gives soul hugs of comfort, gets along with all critters
*Freeda - chestnut - 5 - 15 hands - green broke - by Major League who is by Gen.'s Major General - has foal (Cardinal) at side still, open - does not like feet done and is a little more "strung" so would be better with a more experienced horse person
**Genny - liver chestnut - 10 - 15 hand - unknown if broke, but most likely was (exceptional brood mare, so was used for that) - by Gen.'s Major General (1/2 sister to Jose' Jose' - first TWH to sell for over $1,000,000) - has filly (baby girl) at side, open - loving but will test you, greets you with a nicker and cooperates with a grin of mischievousness, lost weight from stress so diet assistance has been needed
**Jewel - black sabino - 7 - 15 hand - broke, but running "show" walk gait that is almost to fast for trails, so experienced gaited horse rider is best - by Pusher's Jewel Thief - in foal for 09 LFG (will be her first foal) - low in herd ranking and so does better to be alone or with just a horse or two, stresses over changes, but very mellow once settled in
*Muddy - "copper" chestnut - 14 - 14 hand - broke, but huge motor so needs skilled rider; great trail horse - by Mud Slide Slim - open (Fancy and Dely are out of her, and Duke who was recently sold - had 2 others also) - BOSS mare, sweet yet assertive too, has allergies from bites (but no health issue from it)
*Sammy - bay roan (gets roan frosting - also has a star and well matched hind socks) - 13 - 16 hand - broodmare only - grand sire is Generators Iron Eagle - DUE TO FOAL mid Aug, but looks like she might foal late..but has 7 foals on the ground, so who knows... (bred to an ivory champagne stud) - hard to catch, but excellent behaved once in halter, lets you pet her unless you have a halter, this mare is awesome to look at and to watch run and gait
<foals> 2 fillies and a stud colt (can be sold with mares or separate at weaning) - all were imprinted and are handled daily
**Baby Girl (Genny's filly) - champagne with unique marking on face - born 6-27-08 - looks like might be a smaller horse when grown - awesome bloodlines - independent, loves being in the barn and loves being with people
*Cardinal (Freeda's Colt) - champagne, mane is turning cream - born 5-12-08 - looks like he will be a good sized boy - great bloodlines with awesome color too - this little guy is mellow and very smart, an absolute doll to be around, will come to the fence and nicker when he hears my voice
**Princess (Cash's filly) - smokey black??? looks like has a dorsal stripe with dark legs too (not sure if she is classic champagne or not...I was planning to color test her to know for sure what colors she carries) turning GREY already - born 5-22-08 - looks like will be about the 15 hand size when grown - greys with Lined with Cash lines are in demand right now, so her bloodlines are a big plus for her - she is mellow, loving and gentle; but, does not seek out loving
Please pray God will direct in helping find the critters and us new homes
