Added a few more - WE NEED TO SELL SOME - A few horses for sale - with pictures

After having about 40 head for the last few years we have simply decided to cut back a little and sell a few horses. I am looking forward to slowing down and being able to show again. Naturally we have a few youngsters for sale at all times, a few riding well, but we have also decided to sell a couple of our broodmares too. All are registered with AQHA. I have asked g-bar about them and she says that they should be elligible for the foundation registries as well. All are reasonably priced for todays market. PM me for more info and pictures.

Here are the pedigrees and info on a few of them:

http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/dually+daughter

This mare is 8 yr old. We were told that she had been started riding as a two year old, but it has been a while since anyone has ridden her so she would need to be started again. She is good natured, gentle, and easy to handle. She is sound and healthy. She is bred and due in about 30 days. Here is the stallion's pedigree http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/sr+the+quixote+kid We have her yearling stud colt (bred the same way) for sale also.
UPDATE: She had a filly Saturday, May 2nd.
The price for her and the new filly is $2,500.

This is her and her 2007 stud colt, Oliver. He is about 2 -3 weeks old here. He is now a yearling and he is also for sale. His price is $1000.

The next one:
http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/whats+lacy+lady

This mare is 17. She is about 14.2 hh, sorrel, nearly bald faced and has 2 hind socks. She is currently open. This mare came from a big ranch originally and has the saddle marks to prove that she once did something for a living. She rides very well but does have a limp in the front end, possibly arthritis. Sometimes it goes away but it will come back. She should be fine for light riding and gets around the pasture easily. She isn't a complete deadhead, but quiet and safe. Suitable for a novice rider and still fun for someone more advanced. My husband's partner owns her and he would occasionally catch her out of the pasture and ride her - he is in his early 70's. She is very gentle, good mannered, and will take up with anyone that will give her some attention. She can be bought either open or bred to one of our stallions. Her price is $ 1,200. We have her 3 yr old stud colt sired by a son of Doc's Oak for sale also.

I have also decided to sell my two roan fillies. I had bought both of these fillies with intentions of showing them and later using them as broodmares but I have decided to geld my WP stallion (the one I would have bred them to) and show him instead. These are both very good natured and I really love them, but no need to just have them standing around. Good homes are a must for them....I'm kind of attached to these two and will definitely miss them.

Here is the ad and details for the yearling - Junie
http://horsetopia.horse-for-sale.org...3666?mm=215013

Junie has really grown since this picture was taken last fall. She is about 14 hands tall now and her coloring is a bit different. New pictures coming soon.

Here is the other one's pedigree - Bunny
http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/red+jet+bunny

This is Bunny. I have had her since she was a yearling. She is the sweetest filly (really!) and is very good natured and cute as can be. She is 3 yrs old and red roan with a flaxen mane and tail. Bunny is going to be tall and have a real nice shape to her. She is currently about 15 hh and still growing. She is cow bred on top and running bred on bottom. Her grandsire, Sail On Bunny has nearly 1 million dollars won on the track and a speed index of 108. However, Bunny is as laid back as they come. She moves around like a pleasure horse and always keeps her neck out level. Everyone thinks she is WP bred by her actions and way of moving. I doubt she could run very fast but should excell in WP, hunter, trail, or all round events as she is a nice clean mover. IMO she could raise WP or speed/working babies depending on what stallions she is crossed with. I was told that she has several siblings that are good barrel horses. Bunny has been ridden once. My husband saddled her late last fall and she just stood there and then walked and trotted quietly in the round pen. So he got on and still she was perfectly quiet. In a matter of 15 minutes she was walking and trotting figure 8's easily. Because she is still growing and a bit gangly we haven't pushed her to be ridden, but know she will be very easy to train when the time comes. She is sound and healthy. I covered Bunny once a couple weeks ago, if she is bred she will stay here. If she is not bred her price is $1,300.

That is Bunny peeking out from behind the bay roan mare

I also have a POA gelding for sale. He is 3 yrs old, black, with roaning, blanket, and spots, and hind socks. He is about 13.2 hands tall. His sire is ApHC registered and his dam is an unregistered POA mare. Rooster will quailify for the POA registry. He is quiet, laid back, and a nice pony. He is built like a small QH. He is a nice enough mover to be a great WP pony but could easily go engish or do games as well. He has been ridden a couple of times. He is willing and has never tried to buck or do anything wrong. He guides and gives to pressure easily and has been walked and trotted. I know the folks that raised him and he has always been well taken care of and raised right. He's a quality pony and the kind of pony that you can put some time on and triple the price later. I would do it myself, but I am wanting to slow down and be able to show again. This is him last fall as a 2 yr old. He has leveled out and gotten a bit thicker since this picture was taken. Rooster's price is $1,200.

Prices are a bit negotiable as I need to move a few. I have others for sale too. All others will have top cowhorse bloodlines and reasonable prices.

Bunny is one of my favorites. I hate to see her go, but I can't forsee myself having the time to do much with her this summer. If I know she is going to a good home that will take care of her I guess it won't be so bad. I did let the stallion cover her once (an impulse decision - I thought I would geld my stallion and it was a last chance effort to get one more baby...long story...I'll tell about it in health/nutrition sometime soon). If she is bred she gets to stay, if not, then I will sell her. I will know in a couple of weeks.

Wow, Bunny is gorgeous! I can't let Gary see her or he's gonna want to get her and send her to a trainer!

Update: The Dually Leo mare had a filly Saturday, May 2nd. I haven't seen her yet as she is at the other farm. I will have pictures if anyone is interested in her also. They can be bought as a package for $2,500 or the filly alone for $800.

Updated Information And Prices

We have talked more about what we want to sell and have decided to drop prices a bit. We want to slow down and just not have so much to do. The man that is partners with my husband is having a terrible time with his arthritis and he is having a hard time taking care of his and we simply don't have the time to do it all.

ROOSTER is riding great! He has the makings of being a super show pony. He is walk, trot, and cantering easily and slowly, not fast at all and keeps his head level - naturally. I can see a top WP or Hunter pony in his future. Because he is doing so well his price is going to stay real close to $1,200 that I priced him at before.

WHATS LACY LADY - This mare is very fat and in good shape. She does still have a slight limp, but came running with the other mares in the pasture this morning so I am sure she would be fine for light riding. She is well broke and easy to handle. I had her priced at $1,200......make me an offer on her.

DUALLY DAUGHTER - her filly is looking really good and has tons of muscle. I saw her this morning and she really is a nice filly. The price for the pair is $2000. At this time the mare is open but could be bred back for an additional $500.

My roan filly JUNIE - aka DYNAMIC APPEAL (pending) I had priced at $2,000 ....MAKE ME AN OFFER....she is growing and looking really good - there are current pics in my post about her in the horses for sale section. She is a great filly but I don't have time to haul and show her right now and there is no need for her to stand around here.

My roan 3 yr old filly BUNNY appears to be bred at this time. I only covered her once, but so far she has not came back into heat. I had planned on keeping her if she was bred, but I will consider selling her as long as I can keep the foal she is carrying. Her price with me getting the foal back after weaning is $1,000.

We have 3 yearling stud colts also. All are sired by our stallion SR The Quixote Kid (he is a son of Doc Quixote and out of a daughter of Mr San Peppy). One of the colts is out of a daughter of Smart Little Ricochett, one is out of a daughter of Kit Dual, and the other is out of the Dually Daughter mare.
These colts are priced way below what it would take to by a colt of this breeding, but we just don't have time for all of them.

There are details on most of these in the OP. If you see something you would like, just PM me. Prices may still be somewhat negotiable as we would like to move them ASAP. Junie and Rooster are headed to a registered sale this weekend 5/31.

If I had the money and the cost of picking her up, Bunny would be on her way here.. I absolutely love that mare.. what a shame she has to go..

Junie and the What 3 yr old colt are sold. I have a few more for you at really great prices.

These are yearling stud colts. They are all sired by our stallion SR The Quixote Kid. These colts belong to my husband's partner. We are wanting to downsize and not have so many obligations so we have decided to offer these guys for sale too. These are top cowhorse prospects with proven and competitive bloodlines. All are healthy and sound. Cash and Ricky are priced at $1,200 and Oliver at $800. The prices are NOT due to lack of quailty in either horse or bloodlines, but simply because we want to cut back.

Here are links to their pedigrees:

http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/cash23

http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/ricky14

http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/oliver43

He also has a yearling filly for sale. She would be great for someone that wants a show prospect. This filly is sired by my WP stallion Zippos Smoker (my avatar) and out of a loud colored tobiano APHA mare. This filly is sorrel with a blaze. She has alot of shape and size and is a nice mover. She should excel as an all-round horse and be able to do multiple events. She already looks to have the makings of a nice WP horse and will definitely be able to halter but will not be limited to just those events as she is athletic and should be able to do just about anything. She will be SPB and registered with APHA. Her price is $700.

They are all over at the other farm. I can get pictures on request.
