Has to foundation bred with cow pedigree.
Really looking for a stallion replacement for Scotchy.
Can be a weanling.

I WILL be going to the sale in March, but going to go to the sale barn before then and see what they have there.
They have horses they keep at the sale barn all the time.

NOw with the price of horses, you know, horse cant be 5000.00

My hay guy had a couple of fantastic looking 2 year old palominos that were bred out of some high falluting cow horse (I'm not into cow horses, so don't know if they are cutting bred or what). The market collapsed and I think he still had one last time I picked up hay. You could probably pick one up cheap if he hasn't sold them yet. They were really good looking horses - good enough I wouldn't have any qualms about recommending you take a look.

If you want me to check with him, PM or call me and I'll be glad to check. I think he still has excellent hay (round bales) left too - you could maybe kill 2 birds with one stone or get him to throw a round bale in the deal...

I'll keep an eye pelled. I know a couple people with some nice looking horses, just have to do some research on thier lines.

One of them i know has a droolworthy built stud and I know's he's breed for cattle work as well. I'll call him and see what he has ( I know he's expecting colts in the next month or two... if that's not to young for you..)

My uncle is in eastern Oklahoma and he raises Driftwood bred horses. He lives in Boynton, which is about 120 miles from you.

Any foundation bloodline.

I do like a mixture of the old and the new bloodlines.

We have a few stud colts.

I have a three year old colt that is sired by Docs Sugar Oak Rascal (NCHA earnings of $144k - son of Docs Oak and out of a daughter of Sugar Bars) his dam is a daughter of Doctor What (son of Doc Olena out of a daughter of Gay Bar King) and out Bartender mare.

We have a few yearlings sired by our stallion, SR The Quixote Kid (son of Doc Quixote and out of a Mr San Peppy daughter). He is the horse in Penners avatar. The dams are daughters of Kit Dual, Smart Little Ricochet, Dually Leo, and we do have a grey colt out of a Peponita mare (he is my husbands favorite though).

One that I do have that I have not advertised yet or anything is a horse that is being boarded here. One of our friends sold his farm and sent this horse to live here for a while. I believe he is 5 years old. He is a grulla Appaloosa. Now picture a very solid foundation built grulla QH with a blanket over his hips. He has classic foundation QH looks and a beautiful foundation QH head, little bitty fox ears with the dark edges and a small star. He has all the smokey black shading on his face and shoulders, leg barring and dorsal stripe, all the dun factor coloring plus the appaloosa blanket over his hips....he is quite unusual. He is about 15 hands (or possibly a bit more, I have never measured him) and atleast 1100 lbs pasture shape. He is still a stallion. He will be Harlan bred on top (I can't remember his sires name right now, but good working foundation QH lines). I saw his dam once and was told she has pretty good Appaloosa lines, but I don't remember which ones. He is easy to handle and has good manners. He is not broke to ride. Our friend owned his sire and raised this colt (his sire is a silver grulla and 100% color producer) then went through a divorce, started a new business, and other things and decided to sell the farm. He has mentioned selling this horse a couple of times and I'm sure if a reasonable offer was made he would seriously consider it. This horse is definitely stallion material!

This ranch usually has some nice horses for sale. http://www.diamondbluffranch.com/contact.htm
Their website isn't kept current but I am pretty sure they are still raising foals. They have alot of Driftwood bred horses with some more modern lines as well.

Their website hasn't been updated in quite a while. They probably do have horses for sale but you would have to call and find out what exactly. The website hasn't been updated since before their production sale a couple of years ago.

Face I got him.

He has two yearling colts out of the same sire.
Both palominos.
He is waiting on papers as for AQHA was having problems with the color aspect.

Sire of both colts.

Yes I know, no pics. I should have them in a few days, so you all can suffer with me.

I like the breeding on the Toshas Cowgirl.
