Horse sales

While some are looking for horses, check out your local sale barns. They are well bred horses that are broke to ride for near nothing.

I heard that the sale here horses were going for under a 1000.00.
Mares built like mack trucks with super bloodlines.

Everyone likes a deal, and before I pay a hugh amount of money for one, I check out the sale barns in my area.

Horses are low, and if you want a deal, check them out before paying out.

Some people buy low and want to sell high but with what the market is today, I would look around first before paying out to much.

When I was at the sale last month, I could of came home with a few well bred mares, broke and what a build they had, for 600.00 and under.
Just no money.

Just a FYI. Check the the sales in your area. You can get a great deal on a great horse.

Heading to one on Saturday. Not buying of course, just want to see the prices. I was not buying last time either
I agree with checking them out, but I have never bought a riding horse at a sale, only minis and a weanling colt. Any suggestions?

I try to check out the horses before the sale.
The ones I am interested in, I go over them with a fine tooth comb.
I also check their eyes to make sure they are not drugged.
I have asked if the owner will sign a release stating the horse is not drugged and is as stated.
Then I watch them real careful while they are being ridden. I have asked before the sale for the owner to ride them out of the ring and try them myself.

What sale are you going to Seloc?
