Everybody ready

For the cold this weekend?
I am use to cold, but this wet stuff is driving me crazy.
Being an ex-Floridian, I have to say I love it when it snows, but hate the muck after.
We have coats, but not what is needed for here.
But, we can get that taken care of.

My horses are finally getting use to it.

The heat pumps in our office were only running at 50% of capacity today. I went home and put on jammie pants and a sweatshirt over my dress. Brrrrr!

I am so ready for spring! But I am just glad I finally have electric in the barn. Last year I had to tote water buckets a hundred feet in this and didnt have heated buckets so I am not going to complain too much. I am just ready for riding weather and the fun shows.

Well, the cold is going to be everywhere. Here in North Ga they are predicting up to 2-5 inches of snow/ice tomorrow. Everybody's in the barn with full bellies.

Snickers, I was in North Fla for Xmas and you are right it was cold. But what we are expecting is real unusual. High of maybe 34 tomorrow. Snow/ice all day long. Low of 17 tomorrow night. High Sunday about the same.

Dang! I looked at my thermometer when I got up and it read about 7. I definitely intend to NOT go outside today. Got plenty to keep me busy inside. Like you guys

10 degrees now. High of 19 and low of 8. I picked a good weekend to be sick, I guess. Not moving out from under this warm blanket/puppy combination except to kiss my baby boy goodbye, he is going back to Columbia today after being home for a month. So tonight I will be cold, sick, and sad. Oh poor pitiful me. Will require lots of HT entertainment this evening.

Man, I am dragging my feet getting outside this morning. My thermometer is in the sun, but it is reading 34, I guess it won't be too bad. Last night was miserable, cold with a nasty biting wind. But this too shall pass. My dad emailed me pictures of the snow out of his windows, in Alaska. At least they get something pretty to look at while freezing their toes off.
