Clinics?

Does anyone know of any clinics going on in Missouri? I really need to take lessons or something but so far my search is coming up short for a decent instructor around here. So I am trying to find clinics and things like that around here. Im mostly looking for horsemanship or confidence building clinics. I was going to try the barrel clinic I posted about on here but after I rode the other day I dont think I would be confident enough to do it on my horse. So does anyone know of anything going on?

Where are you located - what town or surrounding towns? I haven't hauled and shown much (other than to team sort) in a while, but I might know someone in your area that could give you more info.

Let me do some digging. I think I have saved a few old association books from when I used to show. I showed the Mid MO circuit heavy one year, there may be someone from that area in there and their addresses and possibly phone #'s are listed.

StefanieLeann14,
as I'm sure you know, there are a lot of 'cowboy' trainers in your part of the world. One of our family had that problem with having a colt started and he lives pretty close to you.

Just be careful.

Ike, thanks for your concern. Im not looking for a trainer for Whisper really. Im looking for clinics and stuff that I can do with him since I cant seem to find anyone knowledgable to give lessons around here. I dont trust trainers I dont know so I will be with him the whole time. Even if the grouchy old horse does get on my nerves I wont let anyone hurt him in any way.
