Nothing has gone as planned for us this summer! Bought a new horse for my daughter to show and we didn't get him to a single one--injuries kept him on stall rest most of the summer (he's doing OK now though so, fingers, toes and hooves crossed we won't be dealing with those issues anymore !

) We've worked like dogs around our place, refencing, building stalls, adding bars to windows, etc. Because of all that, hubby and I decided this weekend is ALL FUN AND NO WORK!!!!!!
Today--went to the Renaissance festival and ate a turkey drumstick bigger than my head!
Tomorrow--riding with Applejack and going to the State Fair in the evening (I'm going to walk through every LQ trailer there and dream of the day the horses and I camp in one of those babies!)
Monday--get the kids ready for school (as a mother of two teenagers this makes me very happy!)
Hope everyone else manages to squeeze a little fun in before the sub-zero temperatures hit our neck of the woods (which, as you know, could be any day after Labor Day!)
