It's a party and you're invited!

Who: anyone who can come!

What:
unofficial 2nd Annual MN HT get-together

When: Labor Day weekend - Friday night, the 29th

Where: pvf's place

I'm going to be heading up to pvf's to shoot her horses - with a camera - and she has graciously offered to host an HT get-together at her place! And we'd love to meet some other HT'ers if it works out!

It'll be a grillout/potluck, pvf and I will provide the meat/buns/condiments, everyone else bring a side, your drinks, and a big appetite! pvf says tents/campers welcome to stay the night.

Kid-friendly, we'll have our two boys who will be 4 and 7. We'll bring along our donkey-balls game, anybody else want to bring some fun outdoors stuff, feel free.

Hope it works for a bunch of us, I can't wait to make this little road trip to meet the pvf gang!

That's a good point pvf. I think my son's going to participate in Labor Day Parade activities around our house but maybe I can convince him to come along and look at the Pally We won't have the money for additional training for him yet then but if we like him maybe we could work with him some this fall and send him to training in the spring

you might be surprised and won't need a trainer.. But you could defently send him in the spring for 30 day course..

Kindred - if you can make it here you could probably ride with me/us because if my son goes we'll only have 2 horses in our 4 horse trailer and his truck is a crew cab. If he doesn't go the only way I'll be able to go is if someone rides with me or I ride with them

Great!!! I'll try and save some money by then. My husband's new job isn't working out and we're hoping he finds a really good paying job - more than he's making now OR God sees fit to provide us with a windfall of money

I'll try to pick up a few extra session at the therapy clinic that I work part-time to try to raise some money. I really need to get a regular horse trailer too so I can see me working a lot of extra hours

Is there a trail ride this year too? If so I better trailer train my horses Although Ziggy is already trained but hasn't been ridden in two-three years, why can't I put the two together in one horse!

Oh! Oh! Guess what?! Gerald said that if he isn't working HE'LL COME WITH ME! So if I'm not working and he's not working we'll be there! I'm excited, even if it isn't for sure.

That would be so nice to meet some HT people

My husband's employer has agreed to let him work until he finds another job so-o-o I am looking for a trailer to trade for my '98 4Runner or to buy outright. I want a 3-4 horse w/ living quarters but can't afford very much. If anyone hears of something that would work please let me know

Yum.. if anyone wants to bring there horses for a trail ride let me know. Remeber any horse coming into the state or leaving will need a current health certificate and coggins. If you want to bring horses please let me know I have no problem with it if you guys want to do some riding I'm thinking maybe earlier on Friday before we eat. Also, Teresa and I will need to know about how many will be coming so we can have enough meat for everyone and remember to bring a dish to share.

What do you guys want to do about drinks??

I was going to bring 2 horses, especially if my son comes. I was thinking the get together was Saturday (shows how well I read ) so I'll have to try to get Friday off work as its about a 5 1/2 hour drive for me.

I could bring tuna casserole (we call "tuna glop), chocolate mayonaise cake, ramen noodle sweet salad....can't think of any other possibilites right now.

As far as drinks, I suggest we all bring our own
