Excellent prospect........he's cute!

Wyatt is a 3 year old registered Quarter Horse gelding. He is a wonderful student to work with. LOVES, loves, loves the trails! He will go where you point him - up, over, through, under or across anything. He rides out by himself without looking back for the other horses. No barn sour issues with him! He loves the adventure! There is no buck or spook in this horse. Great with kids, dogs, traffic (car, tractor, semi trucks!), farm critters (donkeys, llamas). Excellent ground manners. Stands tied quietly all day if you want him too - and he ground ties. Trailers well. Great for vet & farrier. Loves groomings & baths. Has been shown (and won!), will continue to be shown until sold. He would make a wonderful trail horse, or 4-H or open show horse. This video was taken in March: http://youtube.com/watch?v=WBZvHI8h-MU A new video will be coming soon.

He is so cute, if only my fences were up and I weren't stuck boarding for the time being.

Nice looking boy! Just wanted to compliment you on how nicely you made him look for the pics. I think that part is so important. He definately looks like a show prospect. I think you have a good price on him as well. Good luck with selling him.

Of course I did all his training. And if he had the right kind of spots (the painted kind!), he'd be staying in my pasture.

Seems like everyone wants to trade. I'll use that as a last resort if I have to . There are a few people asking about buying him (no trades involved) so we'll see how that turns out.

Joker....are you going to be in Seymour on Saturday? I'll have Wyatt there, although there aren't many classes for us to go in (just w/t). But I'll also have Jin there. You should see him now!! He's doing great for me this year at the Paint shows. How's your mare doing at Jeremy's?

Congrats on getting him sold the photos you had on the ad were the ticket a photos worth a thousand words got people looking at him Plus he is so nice looking I hope to go on Sat to N E W with Nad. Plan on takeing Kia to creekview end of June. She comes home from Jers on Friday she is doing good. He did allot with her in 2 months not "finished" at the lope yet but we will do some w/t and see about cantering not going to rush it. If I do not make the show Sat I'll be watching the Belmont have a showmanship clinic Sat morning too. Only been on Nad a couple times this spring could be "interesting" Maybe I'll c-ya

Yeah, the new pictures really helped to get people asking about him. The lady buying him will keep him at our place until she gets set up for horses at home. Our barn/arena will be up by mid-July. YAY!! So I'll still get to work with Wyatt & help Danna learn all about horses. Wyatt needs finishing at the lope too....definately fast compared to Jin!

We'll see you Saturday!!! It will be fun to see everyone again!

I just wanted to tell you how much I admire all the time and effort you have put into this horse. By having him so well trained..you have created a great market for him and a chance to have a long happy life. I see too many young ones that have barely been touched and their chances for ending up in not such a great place, is more possibly.
Of course, there are no "for sures" in life, but kudos for you for putting so much into your horse for sale. I wish his new owner all the best and again to you...Good Job!

You might be surprised how the market it. I got my asking price on this horse. Plus I had four people waiting in wings that were ready to buy him if this first deal didn't go through.

It really makes a difference to have good pictures. I spent about an hour one day getting Wyatt clipped & banded and snapped a few pictures. Those photos made all the difference in the world. I had so many calls & e-mails just because of the new photos (and I raised the price in his ad!). The higher price didn't stop people.

But it also helps that I started with a good safe horse.

This is all so true. I 'preach' it to people all the time. You have to make your horse look the part. It starts with really awesome, flattering pics of the horse all dolled up as best as you can, and a good video really, really helps! Since the market is flooded, it helps buyers weed out the horses they are interested in.
Also, congrats on selling him!
