Any one near Jordan

Hi Everyone

Well Im looking for new friends to go riding with.Im originaly from BC. Canada.
Been here coming four years now.Only person I know is my husband & his friends but there not involed/intrested in horses.So Im looking for other people of same intrest in horses.I am horse owner of three beautiful horses.
I do have 2-horse trailer (straight load), unfortunately no truck to haul. I,ve been realy looking forward of trying out the trails in MN here.Kinda getting tired of riding around on the property.lol.
Im also looking for Exp' persons who can tune up two of my horses as they sat through the last winter we had.

Welcome. I don't live near Jordan but I believe there are state trails in that area. Check the DNR website and/or Mn trailriders site for information.

I will have to check that sight out..Im pretty new to MN here.I met few nice people,tad far from my area.So Im hoping to find some friends closer as well,to go riding with.I prefer not to go alone on the trails.I will check out the sight thanks again.

You can also check www.threeriversparks.org. Murphy-Hanrehan is in Savage so that should be really close for you. I'm sure I'll ride there some time this summer, so I'll send you a PM when I do.

I think I am about an hour from Jordan. I've ridden the state trail over there.
It is nice, wide and sandy trails that meander around the river.
If I'm ever able, I would not mind meeting and riding sometime, it's just that it's hard for me to get out much...you can pm me if you want, maybe we can get together one of the weekends...

MarMar, are you able to come to Rush River State Park in Henderson this weekend? We are going there.
Its alot of fun, we camp overnight and its a lot of friendly people. If nothing else you should come down after hours and sit at the campfire with us.

Sorry I couldnt make it..Gosh would of loved to be there..Grrr
Perhaps next time...Husband worked all day til midnight so he had the truck.

Perhaps I should convince him to buy another truck so I can haul my horses & check out all the trails..

DDD - how high was the river?
I like Rush River, have not been there at all this spring.
I ended up working most of this past weekend afterall- so did not do so much fun stuff, and now- I have a icky cold and feel cruddy...

Sorry - I didn't see this question. At that time is was perfect. Easy crossing the river. Now after all this rain? LOL
No clue. We are going again on Father's Day weekend.
Gonna take BB and try her out.
