i went to auction friday.i was over by the kill pens.had to check out the lost souls.they put about 15 head or so per stall.this one horse was crazy.OMG was kicking and biting everything in sight.just wouldnt quit.i heard when they loaded horse that morning,he kicked a man in head and now hes in hospital and may not live.i know most dont agree,and thats why i posted in regional.bad breeding or whatever,some are just not good for nothing but dog food.there are so many horses just begging for good homes with love,to put up with and try and deal with that.loco.i just had to tell this.ive seen wild and scared before but never seen pure crazy.considering where i was at,im suprised he wasnt tranked and put into the riding horse side.funny but not really as there are traders like that.i bought a fat little mare pony there.so wish me luck.girls were riding her bareback around last night.cant put a saddle on her yet as she has cinch galls on both sides.they look about a week old as they are in healing stage.got fingers crossed that her sweet temperment stays.sometimes the bute wears offnotice my herd in background checking out they're new sister.still cant figure out how to show a bigger picnote:she did not come out of kill pen.

Nice Haflinger you got there! I have two horses from Shipshewana's kill pen as our own personal stock. Sunshine is my 6 yo Belgian mare I got about 2 yrs ago and Lucky is our Hackney/Shetland X pony. Both are great horses and we love them with all our hearts. I think Shipsey is a great place to get a horse if you know what to look for.
