When? Our youngest is in football now so we won't be going to the Blessing of the horses. I told my husband fine but I want to ride someplace...he agreed.

I'm open and I can probably get some boarders to go also. Let me know when and where (we're booked though for holiday weekend at Silver Creek all of us are).

Well lets figure out a place that would be central to everyone. Would weekdays or weekends be best for everyone? Do we want to just ride or do a campover? Lets get an idea of what everyone can do , then go from there... i can go as of now, weekdays and some weekends. Campover would have to be on a saturday(hubby works on saturday morning.) brighton, highland, genessee trails, hadley, are just few that are close to me...... anyone have any other ideas?

I'm up for anything. I'm not available the holiday weekend either as I'm putting on an extreme cowboy event with my friend. Weekend of the 6th I'm staying at my friend's in Ionia and riding my Belgian in the Frontier Days parade in Charlotte together with their horses. I'm pretty booked every weekend in September with clinics and my riding club meeting/camp out.
If we do it in October, my schedule is pretty open. I'm sure my boarders and leasers would love to join us as we've been doing an amazing amount of riding together this summer and traveling all over to do it.

Just as a reminder Oct 1 is opening day of bow season & Waterloo is state land, so be prepared to run into hunters.

I'll ride during bow season but not gun season. Bow hunters are pretty much guaranteed to see you on horseback as they don't really shoot at something unless they know it's a deer. The target is within 40 yards of them so huge difference compared to a gun hunter.
I can do the last weekend in Sept or anything after that.
