question for ohio people

Hey- I posted a thread in health and nutrition about vaccines and then realized that my horse will be in Ohio for most of the year so i should check on the standard vaccines.

So you who have horses in Ohio, what vaccines do you give your horses? My horse is 11 yrs old, in good health, and doesn't show. The horses in the barn don't leave the property usually.
So:
Tetanus
Rhino-flu
Rabies (required in NY)
what else?

I don't remember the exact address, but I recently posted the AAEP's most current vaccination recommendations based upon geographic location in a Health and Nutrition thread.

i use a 5 way and thats it. and of course wormer.

Same here. I add West Nile because of all the trail riding we do. Speaking of which Ive got to go get them....

my horse comes from a differnt state and hasn't ever had that shot before.i'm afraid he might have a bad reaction.

Talk to your vet about it but Billie had never had it and mine gave me the ok of a half dose and then the rest 6 weeks later. I think it was because she is an older mare. West Nile scares me to death. Had a few horse that had to be put down around here last year because of it.
