FOR SALE: Sport Pony Deluxe! Exmoor! UPDATE #2

Belle is a 4 yo Exmoor mare. She's 13.2 hands high and very stocky. Can carry an adult with ease. I have ground driven her and ridden her several times. I also use her to give pony rides on lead line. She has been trail ridden by a 13 yo girl as well as my 15yo son bareback with halter and lead rope. She is very willing but is careful about who she trusts. She is unique looking and gets an amazing amount of attention whenever she's out being ridden.
She would make an excellent broodmare as well for your sport pony breeding program.
She has a very flat, wide back and takes a saddle that fit right or she will buck if it digs into her back!! The other thing she doesn't like is your heels gouged into her sides. She is light pressure/mouth. Other than that, she is for an advanced beginner who has had experience and taken formal lessons.
Asking $3000 or best offer.

I'm also willing to trade for a stock or 3 horse trailer or another horse. The horse has to be stocky and at least 15.1 hands or more.

Good luck trail rider!! I hope you find a horse to trade for. The market really does stink here in Michigan. People are hurting for money and don't have the extra money for horses or hay!!! ---UGH I can't wait for this economy to turn around.
I had an job interview yesterday that went real good!! I should know something in the next 2 weeks!! Keep your fingers crossed for me. I have only been looking for a job for 9 MONTHS!!!

I went to look at a few horses yesterday. I didn't want to wait for Sunday. Usually they have a lot of nice horses but they didn't have a lot to choose from right now. The 'pony girl' who does dressage and eventing rode Belle, who did really well for her, even getting up on a low, square wooden deck! I was so proud of her! I have a few potential trades in the works so I'll keep you updated.

She did! New Update too!!
I am now throwing in Lucky to sweeten the deal. He's a yearling Hackney/Shetland cross gelding. He stands 13.1 hands and is gorgeous!

Thank you! I should say that I think we both made out well. I think she got two really nice ponies. I'm glad they're together to keep each other company too.

Okay, we decided we couldn't live without Lucky. Darn kids-they always love the young horses! I was begged to no end about buying him back so I caved and went to get him today. He's now back home and looks like here to stay. LoL. I'm such a sucker!
