Horse Boarding
Sunshine Acres is accepting new boarders!
Quality, affordable horse boarding available at my private farm located in Gobles, MI.
I provide quality care for your horse in a loving, caring, friendly environment.
  • Stall and Pasture board available.
  • Quiet, country setting, only 2 miles from
M-43 and M-40 intersection.
  • Miles of riding available
  • Supplements fed (you provide)
  • Blanket, sheet and fly mask service available free of charge (you provide)
  • Tack and Trailer storage available
Pasture Boarding Pricing:
·$175/month. Includes services above plus grain and quality hay, plus a run-in shelter for protection from the elements.
Stall Boarding Pricing:
  • $195/month. Includes services above plus grain and quality hay. Your horse brought in for grain and in during inclement weather. Nightly stabling available at $230/month.
I am an avid trail rider and ride all year long. In the nicer weather my friends and I take the horses camping to trail ride. I usually have one or two spots for horses in my trailer for boarders to come along. We also trailer in the winter, weather permitting as well as ride locally.

I just checked out your site Laurie---I thought it was great, and loved all the pics. Here's a prayer that you get the business you want/need. Your prices were very decent based on what I pay, which is also very fair for the area I live in.

Well, thank you, I appreciate that! I have four boarded horses now but am losing two, which I knew about when they first started here. They are clearing land at their new house for their horses to come home. I'm going to put another ad in the Kalamazoo Gazette later this month. I haven't gotten much response from internet advertising so far.
I try to cater to the horses and owners. I have one horse who needed a separate paddock so we put one up for him. He was also used to eating pure alfalfa hay but I feed grass hay so I went and got some pure alfalfa for him to mix in with his grass hay. I also mend boo-boos and include extras at no cost. I like to do the little things that make people feel wanted. I remember what it's like to be a boarder.
