FOR SALE: 12 hand 9 year old very gentle pali pony mare..

Have a little cowgirl or boy that is looking for a flashy sweet pony to ride - Buttercup may just be the one - she has been outgrown by the family that owned her for the past 6 years, and we purchased her as a resale project.. I am not sure she is right for a real non-confident beginner at this point as she has been laid off for about 18 months.. but she has had beginners on her before, logged a lot of miles with family groups in the hills on long trail rides - I do feel confident that she will fit a confident beginner and up..

She walks, trots, and lopes - no buck, bite, crowhop - nothing.. she leads, easy to catch, clips, trims, grooms, baths, worms, has been shod but has great feet naturally; she is gentle on the ground and gentle under saddle - no spook.. 100% sound, she is 12 hands, UTD on shots, wormings and coggins.. saddles and bridles easily - this mare will fit a small adult, or any child about 7 and up.. leg and seat responsive - but forgiving of mistakes.. good stop - will not run off - backing up is her only issue at this point - she doesn't - but we will continue to work with her on that... Priced at $800 to an approved HT home until Labor Day - after that I will raise her price ... she is that nice..

Free ranch kitty of your choice goes with her if you like..

Photos taken today - August 4th..

It was funny how it all came about - he came over to trim five of the horses Sat morning and he and Pat were talking - Paul mentioned that his sister wanted to sell her as they just got in two new ones that are old enough to start for the kids.. so we figured - we would go look at her after he told Pat just how sweet and gentle she was..

Holy cow - we were impressed.. and the fact that she has been with their family for a long time I think made a big difference..

I am having a blast playing with her.. You need to come and try her out.. she is just our size..
