Price reduced..

Pat said to offer a price reduction on Jolena and Di - so the price is now $1500 - negotiable - for Di bred to Kaycee... LFG.. Di's pedigree: http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/playboys+princess

DI:

Kaycee: his pedigree: http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/pocos+mr+kaycee

With Jolena - as a three for one - $2000... or for Jolena alone - $800.. possibly negotiable.. Good homes are a must for both of them.. Jolena will be weaned 4th of July weekend and available 2 weeks after that - or the three for one as soon as Di has been bred to Kaycee. She will have a line back dun next year as that is all he produces.. We might also be interested in a trade for a well broke sound riding horse..

Jolena's pedigree: http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/di+joes+foal

Di and Jolena..

If I had my own place I would snap Jolena up in a heartbeat. I really love the way she looks. But...sigh...I board and there is no room for one so young.

Would you be interested in trading for a 2 yr old bay filly? Not in training yet but easy to catch and handle....???

I would - but hubby says no.. the point is supposed to be to reduce.. He might be willing to trade for something he can ride - a good gelding maybe.. but no more mares..

We have just one other baby for sale - besides Jolena and Di...

GBM Billy Jack Joe is a dark smutty bay - really more of a dun color in real life, but I am sure the AQHA will register him as a bay.

His pedigree: http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/hannah+joes+foal

He should be 14.2 - 14.3 and 1100 lbs - thick bone, short backed, nice hip and head, very catty - this colt is built.. He has a lot of brains, and is going to be fun to train. I will not sell this one to a brand new horse owner unless he will be going to a trainer from here.. he is almost too smart for his own good, and as sweet as he is, will be taking advantage of anyone without experience..

BJ would be great at any cow or speed events, and really would do better with someone who has plans to use him - he should ride out as smooth as momma - her trot is to die for, and she can nail a stop from any gait.

Here he is at just shy of 6 weeks.. Price on him is $1500 - but depending on the home, we may negotiate some.. He is NFQHA and FQHR eligible.. He will be ready to go in October.. and will be gelded at weaning time if he hasn't sold..

Okay, I was asked to explain this

No, he is not mean, wild, or crazy.. he is just a very smart horse and not an in your pocket type. He has been super independant since day one, and we believe, personality wise, needs someone who will be gentle, but firm and consisitent.. Which new to horse owners sometimes aren't..

He will be a lot like my Peppy - probably bond very deeply with his primary handler, be very willing and try hard to do as you ask - but if you are not confident or ask in an inconsistent manner, I do see him getting frustrated..

He should be quiet to handle, and easy to train - but again, having dealt with horses for so long - we just feel that he needs to go to someone with some horse experience or a new owner that has a trainer or an experienced horsey friend to assist them.. Or I see him moving into the house, and taking over the easy chair and the television set..

Another change in plans..

We have decided NOT to breed Di back - we are going to put her under saddle instead.. hopefully our trainer will be able to take her in July once she weans out Jolena.. If not, we have a second trainer that can..

Sooooooo - if you are interested in her, price on her with just the basic ground manners is $1000 - after 60 days of saddle work - $1500..

This mare is only 4 years old, very gentle, and should ride out like a dream with her disposition. We can do payments on her while she is being worked under saddle.. and she would be available at this point sometime in September once her training is complete..
