Foal watch help needed

Anyone in the area that would be interested in helping me do foal watch for two mares? There is a kitchen-et, bathroom, and cot in set up in the barn. We have a camera in the stall, so you just watch the moniter. And can check on her when you want/need to. Even if you just want to come keep me company for a few hours a week. I'll post pictures by the end of this week. We will be starting our foal watch season this weekend. We have a mare due any time now and another mare due in a month. So any help will be much apresheated. I not only have the farm, but I work a 40 hour a week job at a detal office as well.

Darn, cause the vet was out today and says to expect a foal in 2 to 3 days. But I'm to call him if she does not foal within two weeks. So I'll be staying at the farm. I'll try to keep you updated with pictures.

Well, still not baby. But she is doing all the biting, sweeting, nesting, and pushing you would normaly see the night of a birth. But after 3 days of this and no foal, I am very tired.

Skittles had a beautifull baby boy at 7:00 this morning. He is black and white with two blue eyes! I'm at my parents and do not have a way to download the pictures. But when I get home tonight I will post a new thread announcing him. I'll post the link to the new thread in here as well so ya'll will be able to find it. The foal will be registared with BEHA and Pinto.
T'Neesha, my other pregnant mare waxed up yesterday. So foal watch help is still needed. i'll post pictures of the stallion they are/were bred to. He is APHA Sand Ridge Bandit. Also registared with BEHA and is Pinto elligable.

He is very strong. We will be taking him on his first trail ride today if it does not get too hot. Not a long one, just 30 min or so. We want to introduce him to the creeks and tree branches early.

Wow, a trail ride at a week old? I've never had any babies before, so I've got zero experience or clues, but then again I guess they are expected to do a lot and keep up with the herd when kept wild.

We would like to keeping him. We have not yet desided if he will stay a stallion or not. We are going to see if the market gets any better in the 3 years. If we deside to make him our next stallion then we will keep him. But if we decide to geld him we will sell him. But I've had some people make me some offers on him. So in other words, we are undesided at the moment. This is the last foal Skittles will ever have, so I have that to concider as well. I can raise a better ridding horse that I could ever buy. And my vet says I'll to stop riding Skittles in the next 2 to 5 years. Chakotay would look great in a show ring though. But I don't show. So I will be leasing him for showing. Maybe some 4-H kid would like the little guy.
