Does anyone here use bulk shavings?

or know of a place where you can buy bulk shavings?

Do you have a lumber yard around? Our lumberyard will sell huge bags of wood shavings for 5 or 6 dollars a bag. Tell them you want it to use for horses, when you call and ask about it.

Right now i am paying 4.75 a bag if i pick up, and 5.50 a bag if i want it delivered. And that is just for the reg. store bought brand.

But i will definately take a look at the lumberyards around.

We get our delivered by the dump truck load for $150 a load, including delivery.
