Stable and Barn information

Is it alright to post the names of barns in our area's?
and, ask questions?

i.e.: try to meet boarders, ask questions about rules..
etc.?

Maybe ask about a certain area of Illinois instead? And see how many people are from that area? Than Pm them for info.

I just noticed that the barn / stable that I am at had some bad raps a few years ago, and I wanted to let everyone know how much I like the barn...

also, the horses look so good!
The barn always smells clean and fresh, food looks good -

nice big arena's, heated in the wintertime...

great staff...

great instructors...

you name it!

I board at a place in McHenry (Northwestern Chicago burb) . . . highly recommend them. And I did some more hunting for places last year (long story as to why I was looking!) so have some notes and comments on other Chicago area boarding places. PM me for more info.

PS: I think we do need to be careful about mentioning specific boarding operations. Even when you think you're saying something positive, you never know how something could be taken the wrong way.

I've now moved my boy to a place in Southern Illinois. I've checked out some places in Marion, Edwardsville, and Sparta . . . pm me if you'd like any info on the places I checked out.
