Looking for a barrel prospect.

Well some of you already know about my babies passing away. My beloved barrel mare and roping gelding got struck by lighting about a month ago. I was on my way to a Rodeo Schlorship and then all tis happened. I have owned these horses since they were babies and they were my life and my everything. I had a lady that had donated a horse to me and she told me how wonderful he was and he has turned out to be terrible. I know I will never replace my horses but I really do want to continue my Rodeo Carrer. So I am hoping to find my perfect horse or atleast kinda close to perfect! I have spent so much blood, sweat and tears in my two horses. I do not have a ton of money, I am only 19 years old and I am just hoping someone would be nice enough to give me a good deal or maybe we can work something out?! PLEASE let me know if you know of any horse that is a barrel horse or just a barrel prospect that is looking for a good home. He or she would be very very spoiled! Thanks so much

My neighbor has a lovely 2 year old thoroughbred colt that was raised by UF students, so he has been imprinted at birth and is up to snuff on all of his groundwork. He is very kind and sweet and will be easy to train. He is asking $300 for him, but my neighbor who is keeping him says you can probably get him for $200. I'd grab him up if I had room and time for another horse. Everyone around here thinks he'd make a dandy barrel horse as he is very fast. Hasn't been ridden yet. We live between Branford and Ft. White.

Last night my neighbor had that colt at barrel racing and let him go for $50!!! My son wanted him so badly, I had to bite my lips not to get him. He had him tied to a tree all night, and that sweet pretty colt just stood there so quietly. He is 1/2 thoroughbred, 1/2 QH. I am TOO OLD to break another baby, and my son is TOO YOUNG. Somebody got a heck of a baby. Everyone was saying how well he was built. I don't need another horse, but I was so tempted.

I have a friend that has Roans for sale that have Oklahoma Fuel lines and a roan that is an appendix Blue Roan QH for sale. If you want to know prices and lines let me know. I told them I would help them sale them, they have close to 30 head and all have great bloodlines and really good conformation. Depending on what you want to spend and the ages vary.

That appendix colt did not sell, as I had thought. He is just lovely, kind, and quiet. My neighbor is giving him away tonight at the Suwannee River Riding Club barrel racing. He'll make a great barrel horse. Anyone?????
