Hello all!
I have come to the conclusion that it would be better for Foxy if I could find her a new home. Some unforseen circumstances have come up and I need to place her. I am asking only that she receive a loving and devoted home. She does best on full pasture. At this moment she is fed only one scoop of feed twice a day and looks wonderful! She is an easy keeper while on good pasture. She has had many foals so I would prefer a nonbreeding home. She is very sweet and gentle. I feel terrible for needing to find her a home but it is in her best interest. She does have some soundness issues up front but does not require shoes, just regular farrier visits. She gets around well and is low ranking in a herd situation. Not bossy, marish or anything about her. She adores foals, would make an excellent babysitter for weaning those babies! Like I said, just dont want her bred anymore.
She is papered and has very good bloodlines. Has produced point earners, futurity winners etc. Never had a solid foal to date. Last foal was in Feb 2007. She is Impressive bred but HYPP N/N. I will be retaining her papers however. I will require references and a site check prior to me letting her go. She is a very special mare, not only to myself but her previous owner that I got her from.
Thanks!
Brittany
