Need temporary home for 3...

I rehomed my arab with a lovely family a few months ago. Everything has been just what I wanted. Well the lady has had major back surgery, and will be laid up for about 2 months. She has a mare and month old foal, and my arab gelding. She needs somewhere that will give her full board for the 2 months until she can bring them back home. She is willing to pay, but she cant afford the fancy full board prices. She is just looking for like a pasture board with shade. A stall for the mare/foal would be a plus though. She is at a partial board farm now, and she has asked the barn to feed for her, but her husband has checked, and they dont feel they are being cared for as she'd like. She is in Orange County, so anything Orange/Seminole County would be awesome. Thanks so much!

Sorry to hear about that. I do know of somewhere w/ really inexpensive board and has nice pastures w/ shade.

It is the place where I bought my horse & then boarded him until we moved to Tampa. Also, they have some boarders leaving this week, which may open up even more room for this ladies horses. The barn is in Lake Helen, though, in Volusia County, just over the Seminole line.

My friend Jessica was handling the advertising for the barn. I pm'd her email address to you. I will also email her right now and tell her you may be getting in touch w/ her.

I have talked about you & Chappel before, so she knows OF you!

Good Luck...I really think this would be a great place for what you need.

There's a really nice place and inexpensive in Christmas. The barn is Mikenda Farm and borders Chuluota/Christmas right off Fort Christmas road. The owner/trainer is very experienced and really cares for the horses there (I temporarily boarded there for a while). If your interested, pm me and I'll give you her information. Not sure if she has room for 3 but might make arrangements if it temporary (she usaully keeps a full barn).
