Need the HT network// Mustangs needing homes//Pics added

A lady that got 7 mustang mares from me 2 years ago has no grass left and needing to place all 7 mares, with foals.
She is asking 125.00 for pairs.

She has worked with them when she could, but not enough.
They are still wild.

She has already been caught up in the BS of of one person spreading lies and blowed up all the way to BLM.

It has been taken care of and BLM knows the trouble makers.

Mares are not thin and in good health. Like a lot of people, she is on hard times.

Mare colors are grey, sorrel, black with one minimal paint mare.

PM me if anyone can help.
The $ she is asking is to help feed the other horses she has.
She has 20 horses.

If it were not for the lack of grass and $, none would be going any where.

I am going tomarrow to see them and take pictures.

Now is a chance to help some mustangs.

If anyone feels the need to come in this thread to post anything negative, please do not post. This lady takes care of her horses and needs help.

Snickers I wish I could help but I can not at this point. There should never be anything nnegative said about this. To me a true horse person makes hard decisions at times to the betterment of their stock. She is a true horse person. I hate this for her. I hope they find homes soon.

I will spread the word locally to a few horsey people I know. Where are the horses located? God bless that poor woman for having to make such a hard decision.

I so wish I could, but our boarding facility would not be a good environment for one. I will definitely put the word out, though.

She has 5 mares with foals and 2 mares without foals.
These mares get feed grain everyday, three round rolls of hay a week plus turned out on the pasture she has left once a week.
They get past wormer every three months and on daily wormer.
She is taking care of these mares.
There is a few mares needing more weight, but the foals are pulling them down and needs to be weaned.
BLM even said this happens.

Grey mare with foal.

Paint mare with foal.

Lil sorrel mare with foal.

Black mare with foal.

Buckskin mare with foal.

This is a blue roan mare, no foal.

Grey mare with no foal.

I have more pics to upload, but will have to wait until later.
Have to head to Tallahassee.

She said if someone that may have better luck placing or have a few others to go in on all the mares and foals, she will take 700.00.

Thanks ahead of time for those who can help

Oh, I like them all but those last two are my favorites.

Do theses mares/foals require the special fencing approved by the BLM or are they accustomed to other fencing, no barbed wire though. Just trying to get more info. Thanks.

No. They are kept in a pasture now. Once they are settled in at a new place, they start to attach themselves to the new owner.
I do suggest keeping them in a paddock or round pen for a week or two until settled down.

The blue roan looks to have the silver gene, just by going off her tail.
Is one person wanted more than one, she would work with you, just to find them a good home.

The fencing was going to be my next question. Glad to know they won't need the high fencing. I will pass the word around to a few horsey friends of mine with the emphasis on them going to a GOOD home and a forever home would be nice. I wish I could take them all...they look good and healthy.
