How did you make it through Fay?

It was pretty bad at times but we are OK just a few wet stalls. My neighbor on the other hand had the wind rip her whole roof off her shedrow and tossed it into my fields, debris everywhere. It looks as if a tornado did that job. I'm going to snap some pictures later on.

I was the one that saw the damage but thankfully when I got there all the horses were Ok. So how was it in your neck of the woods?

All we had was some stiff breezes and never more than drizzly rain.

Of course it is not all the way gone yet....but I don't look for it to get any worse.

We got about 5 1/2 inches of rain in a 12 hour period. We have some flooded stalls and a few downed trees, but everyone is safe in his or her own pasture.

I don't know of any major damage in our area.

We had a few hairy moments, but no damage just alot of rain...about 6 inches and we are forecasted for 50% or better rain the next 10 days.

Some localized flooding but nothing to severe thank goodness.

Glad everyone is OK.

I'm no expert but it looks like a job of a twister to me. Here are a couple pictures:

Holy cow.. a twister it had to be...

We are getting all the rain now.. 4 inches in some spots, and still raining.. we are supposed to get about 7 - 10 inches total in the next two days.. but not the winds thank goodness..

That does look like a twister! We had one through here several years ago. Had one side of the barn roof all over the hay field!

We're getting the rain also, which we badly need. There was some hard rain this morning, a break early afternoon and it has really hit this evening!

It sucks. I brought the horses in at 4 am and I'm glad I did with all this rain. Especially with Fuego and Dallas having a slight cough still. Ever since then it rained and rained. I'm wondering how much "Fuego" his mommy can handle being in one stall with him. He would drive me nuts. Then we had one tornado waring after another, needless to say I slept for 2 hrs.

Then again, I shouldn't complain, at least I have a barn vs my neighbor. I feel so bad. She has 2 DTHR foster horses and it's hard on them not to have a barn. We are scheduling a work party to get the roof back on. Anyone wanna come?

And then there is "Gustav"

We ended up with LOTS of rain and some pretty stiff breezes/winds at times. No damage. I'm hoping Gustav will go anywhere but here. *sigh*
