We Need Rain

Here I was thinking that we were on a turn for the better about a month ago. Now it seems as though God has shut the water faucet off.

I was so excited to think that we might have a better year this year.

Now everything has turned brown again.

We have none and Missouri has too much. I guess the only way to look at it is that I know for sure that my barn won't be underwater anytime soon.

Unhappy

Same thing down here too. Started looking like those afternoon thunderstorms were gonna become a regular thing and then....nothing...again. *sigh* We get just enough to jack up the humidity, nothing more. The grass is getting crunchy under foot.

Day before yesterday we had a 20 minute downpour. It was the first rain we have had in over a month... It keeps going around us as well. My hayman has already had to start irrigating, not good since he hasn't put the first cutting of the year in the barn yet...I am sending up the rain prayers cause with this heat we are gonna burn up before summer gets going.

Guess I'm going to have to break down and wash my husbands white truck! Since we live down a dirt road, that usually does the trick. Maybe I'll water my shrubs and roses too. Any suggestions on a rain dance?
