Scary. I have a REALLY dumb question. What is the vaccine called for it? I mostly just rely on my vet, I tell him I want them vaccinated for "everything" and he comes and does it. I have a list of what they are vaccinated for, but I don't know what they all stand for.

Carri.. I order usually the 6/1 it has the eastern, western, and venasuelan strains of the EE.. I normally give this shot 2x year, but they are getting a booster again. The last shot mine got was 02/29/08 so I will bump mine to 3 times this year.

Ok, good, mine got that at the end of March. Whew! Not that it will completely prevent them from getting it, but it should help, right?
