Finally a pic of the ducks--

Here is a pic of the ducks the female is the grey and white one--she is the one with the broken leg. As you can see she does stand on it now--still hobbling but getting better....

I've been away....computer trouble. Glad to hear your ducky is doing better.

I too have a muscovy with a broken leg. My son accidently dropped a cinder block on her and broke her leg. She is doing better now, putting some weight on it.

Very nice ducks you have there. Thanks for sharing. Here's to hoping our ducks have no more injuries.

Muscovy ducks are wild down here. Your female is gorgeous. The ones we have here are black and black/white <mostly>

My aunt has a few Muscovys, their babies are so cute.

I hope that your little duck with the broken leg gets better!

Thanks she is getting there--her mate is black and white you can hardly see him--the little brat keeps flying out of his pen. He can fly like 10 ft but then can never figure out how to get back in.................

Both of my male muscovy can't even get off the ground. Are those young girls? My adults have a lot more red on them. Pretty ducks!

Yes they are pretty young--not one yet. And one is a male one is a female --then the Pekin(his name is AFLAC) is a male he is a little older than them but not much --he isn't a year yet either

I just looked into purchasing some Muscovy ducks this summer, because I seen an add that said they eat Lots of mosquitos. Is this true, will they cut down the mosquito population? That is how they where advertising them.

I almost bought them, but they where pretty expensive.

Glad to hear your guy is doing better.
