They are soooo cute!!! What are their names, and what kind of goats are they? I would like to get a couple of goats, but Im still researching the breed for which would be best for us. It gets really hot here, so I don't even know if it's a good idea to even have them here. Anyway yours are adorable!!! I just want to kiss their little lips

Aw --Thanks Val.

The lighter colored goat is a doe named Gabby--and she sure is!
And the darker one is a wether named Humfrey.

They are brother and sister and are 4 month old Pygmys. They are like little dogs--love people and other animals. SWEEET little kids and my children just adore them.

Yeah-Phoenix is here for weaning. The poor little fellow (well he is 13 hands at 4 months-so not so little)...my sweet herd turned horrid and went after him, so he is in the front paddock all by himself. He likes it when the goats come to play!

Oh he sure is handsome! I took some photos of him today, but they turned out awful. It is hard to get a good photo when you have the subjects nose in the lens!!

The pictures are great.
I love the little pygmys, just so cute.
Clyde loves to sleep in laundry baskets, so I
keep one in the lot for him.

Those pygmy goats ARE addictive. I would get more if my husband would let me!!!!! I'm teaching my male pygmy to do tricks. If I stand in front of him and snap my fingers he stands up on his hind legs, he also gives kisses. My female is a bit more standoffish.

Oh, I do love pygmies! I always described them as dog-like as well.......you are the first person I heard say the same thing. Beautiful crew......goaties are so much fun, and yes they are certainly addictive.........but aren't ALL critters?

Mine were raised with 3 big dogs and think they are dogs. They live in my fenced in back yard and have a pen in the barn to sleep. There favorite place to be?????? On my back deck so they can be close to our family and dogs. They love laying there looking in the patio door. lol The only bad thing is I have to sweep off the deck everyday

Another bonus for pygmy goats is that they "can"stay outside year round. Which is a plus for our winters up here in Canada. My son will be getting 1 goat when we move to our acerage and we will probably be buying him another to keep the first goat company .

Horseless............does that mean I could have a pygmy over here in Sask??? It wouldn't turn into a goatsicle when it's -18C inside the barn???
